Hardly is anything more excruciating than investing all your time and energy into someone, only for them to ignore you when you need them the most. Only for them to pretend they never knew you!
And today's educational system is doing just that to many students. Perhaps to you, right now.
You've been so faithful. You've digested everything in the syllabus. You've submitted all your assignments on time. You've burned all midnight candles you could find to pass all necessary exams.
You could save a tiny little bit of that dedication for something, you know, extra-curricular. Something you-centered. Perhaps learning a digital skill.

But no.

You just want to be faithful. You're so in love. Or, maybe you just don't want to ruin your reputation?
That's fine. Love is blind.

But for once. Just this once. Open your eyes and see what's happening to these past lovers of School.

Are they all happy? Do they all have the jobs they thought they would get? Are they living the fulfilled lives they imagined?
If yes, then you can have some hope. That's fine.

But if the evidence you find screams no, then it's time to do perhaps the only thing you're avoiding:

Cheat.

Look outside the classroom, and find other learning opportunities.
Take a course online on anything you're interested in.

Volunteer to impact someone's life.
