When u enter any website, the first thing u want to check is the HTTPS://
The & #39;s& #39; signifies secure and implies that it uses encryption to transfer data protecting from hackers.
Do not share personal information or sensitive data like credit card information on a site beginning with http:// to be on a safer side.

If a website uses http:// without & #39;s& #39; that doesn& #39;t make the website a scam, but it& #39;s something you& #39;ve to be careful of.
#2 Check Domain name

Double check the web address next to https://
One of the tricks used by scammers is to create web address that mimic large brands. E.g http://www.yah00.com"> http://www.yah00.com , http://amazon.xyz"> http://amazon.xyz
#3 Watch for Grammar & spelling

If the website contains numerous spelling & grammatic errors, it might have been put together by scammers with the intent of making quick money.
#4 Walk away from deals that are too good to be true.

There& #39;s no such thing as free dinner. Any website that puts you on time pressure.. "Special low low discount, only valid for the next 5 mins! Hurry! You& #39;re loosing yr special price!!& #39;

Be careful of such deals.
#5 Take a look at the contact us section

How much information is supplied? Is an address provided? What about phone number? Does the line connect to a company? What about email?

If there is no address, phone number or email, you should be cautious
Check the #whois lookup

A http://whois.com"> http://whois.com  registration can let you know the owner of the website. If it& #39;s individual or company. Domain registration date etc
#6 Check whether the website has a social media presence.

This is something to be watchful of. A legitimate company or at least a business website will have a social media presence of community built around it
#8 Look for online Reviews

Review are a way to build trust. Any website that claims to sell a product or provide service should have a review from other people who have used their product or services.
