/ FM @NicolaSturgeon entirely correct on independence and nuclear weapons. They will be removed from Scotland at pace but with safety as the uppermost priority. This will be an issue of importance for NATO, just as our capability and ability to be a burden sharer in conventional

/ What it is incumbent on us to do is to be more upfront about what an iScotland's defence posture looks like and how does it fit into our region as it's organised? That is something that needs greater discussion come a second referendum campaign, and something that I and...
/ the @SNPDefence team colleagues have done a huge amount of work on. If we secure a second referendum on Thursday, we will go into that campaign more confident and with more to say on defence and security issues than 2014. Expected given the changed security environment.
/ It's often said that defence doesn't win you votes - and it's true that it is not a top priority for the public - but it can certainly cost votes if people think we've not considered these issues properly. With more defence outreach than we've ever done before, we have.

End/ So let's secure the referendum on Thursday with #BothVotesSNP and, from there, we will have a wide and inclusive discussion on Scotland's future as a reliable ally, a cooperative, friendly neighbour and active contributor to regional security, peace and prosperity.
