Still in love with the idea that Mitsuki probably has friends whose sons are dropping out of school or getting in trouble with the law, and they're like "how's that Katsuki of yours? He was always such a handful, he must be a difficult teen, right?" and she's just like-
"Katsuki? He's third in his class for academics, one of the top students in heroics, got his hero license almost a year earlier than most hero course students get them, just finished an internship with the number one hero, does his own cleaning and cooking and laundry..."
And all these women from his hometown are just baffled by the realisation that just because he yells, and he and his mother argue, doesn't mean he's actually a shitty kid, in fact he's going to be a /hero/, the one /saving/ them and their shitty kids.

Mitsuki just smiles smugly.
And if, the next time he comes home to visit, she hugs him a little longer than usual despite his grumbles, and her voice is a little softer when she ruffles his hair and says "welcome home", no one ever has to know 🤷‍♀️
