a few reminders - a thread

YOU CANNOT ACCEPT ANY CC'S APOLOGY ON BEHALF OF THE VICTIMS. STFU IF YOU ARE A WHITE PERSON, ANOTHER POC, ANOTHER SEXUALITY, ETC ETC AND STOP TALKING OVER THE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO SHARE THEIR VOICES AND TRY AMPLIFYING THEM TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY

cc's are people and people can grow. take a look at yourself, for example. you have definitely said something or supported someone that's a bit sus but do you still believe in what you said or who you supported? no. cc's can do the same thing so digging stuff up is unfair.

HOWEVER, if they have not spoken up about the situation, you can definitely get their and their fanbase's attention so they can address it! again, it is not your place to accept their apology, but the affected people.

educate yourself. at least show you're trying. i'm personally not happy with the level of knowledge i have on anything that is happening in the world right now and i get disappointed in myself at times, but that's okay!! as long as you're trying.

FORCED ACTIVISM IS NOT ACTIVISM. if you get in my face, telling me to retweet or talk about something violently, im another human with rational thoughts so i would obviously have a negative outlook on the thing you support. please be mature when telling others to spread info.

hydrate!! get off twitter!! restore your sanity!! take a nap/sleep!! today has been stressful for everyone, and you deserve it <4 to all the people affected by anything that happened today, from one poc to another, im so sorry. dms are always open!
