I did a cross-chain bridge test last night.
ETH <> Polygon (Matic) / Solana / Fantom
Here is my experience so far within that 3 hours.
ETH <> Polygon (Matic) / Solana / Fantom
Here is my experience so far within that 3 hours.
1/ I bridged some money from Ethereum to Polygon (Matic), Fantom, Solana. I did not try to bridge from BSC because I don& #39;t have available fund there haha
2/ Migration to @0xPolygon was the easiest I ever had. I used their bridge.
Total tx cost = $30 dollar
Whole process duration = < 10 minutes
See guide here https://blog.matic.network/deposits-and-withdrawals-on-pos-bridge">https://blog.matic.network/deposits-...

3/ Friend ( @0x5uff3r) said you can bridge from @binance smart chain <> @xdaichain <> @0xPolygon and it& #39;s way cheaper than Ethereum <> Polygon.
I haven& #39;t tried it though.

3/ Fantom was a breeze too.
Total cost = 50 FTM (about ~$30).
Whole process duration = < 8 minutes.
I used @binance via FTM ERC20 and sent $FTM to a Fantom Dashboard that I found from the @FantomFDN official site. You can connect your Metamask there.

4/ Migration to @solana is the fastest and cheapest but their UI/UX honestly isn& #39;t the best. A direct bridge from FTX to your Wallet https://www.sollet.io/
Cost">https://www.sollet.io/">... = ?? It& #39;s too cheap I don& #39;t even know. Less than $2 I assume

5/ I was farming on Raydium (for a while) but the whole time I was using @MathWallet to connect on Raydium and Serum.
Request for Math Wallet& #39;s team: Add balance display on the ext plz

6/ Note: I bridged each native token to the respective chain except Polygon. I sent stablecoins instead.
1) Polygon (Matic): Metamask ETH <> Metamask MATIC
2) Solana: FTX <> Sollet
3) Fantom: Binance <> fWallet (connected my Metamask on the dashboard)

7/ Other 2 chains I did a bridge:
- BSC: Binance <> BSC wallet/Metamask BSC
- Terra: BSC (bought UST to ape $ANC) <> TerraBridge <> TerraStation wallet
Can& #39;t remember the cost. All I know it& #39;s so cheap lol

8/ - Avax: Metamask ETH <> AVAX wallet.
Total tx cost: $200-300 (gas fee back then..)
Duration: Long.
It was hella complicated (they have 3 diff wallets iirc). I& #39;ll return one day... for now- imma pass.

9/ You can use https://chainlist.org/ ">https://chainlist.org/">... to add the chain network to your Metamask
10/ Final thoughts:
I finally know how it feels to be one of those tourists from developed countries (America, Aussie, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc-) that went on holiday to the developing nations (Malaysia, India, Thailand etc-).
IT& #39;S FUCKING CHEAP LOL

9/ and fast. Really. fast.
but Ethereum to me is like the innovation hub and the CBD of DeFi (Tokyo + Silicon Valley + WallStreet?).
I& #39;ll continue to reside here in the CBD and will occasionally fly around other chains to see what& #39;s up.

10/ I would rather have a separate ext on each wallet (Native chain wallet) so I can fly around diff chains without the need to switch my Metamask 5 times lol.
It& #39;s so cool tbh. I feel like I can be in 5 different countries at the same time.

11/ Kindly do proper research before bridging. Test with $50 (that you don& #39;t mind losing).
Most native projects on other chains are new, non-audited, and anonymous. Not financial advice.
