--at the point where I most needed to speed up production, and increase the time I work on it in order to make my self-imposed deadline, I actually slowed down. I used to work on it every day, but it’d been a few months since I’d had that level of dedication--
--I’d lose motivation by watching the wip and obsessing over what people will think of it, down to every tiny choice I made, every cut and background design and character action. I think that level of internal criticism is hurting me. I'm trying to let go of it--
--Right now I'm a few days into animating every day (again) and am trying to stay focused. I wanted to write this note since my pinned post on all sites still says spring 2021. It was beginning to make me feel dishonest.--
--Anyway, trying not to throw too much of a pity party in this thread. Thank you all for your continued support of my art! Going to post some rough animation in the next few days as I work on it. Again, I'm not giving up.--
--Giving up would hurt me far more in the long run (emotionally and in my growth as an artist). I'm going to figure it out and finish this project.
