Sometimes its easy to get lost in the fact that I only started deeply/academically studying Buddhism in 2014, with the Jodo Shinshu Correspondence Course. But in those 7 years, reading so much and RE-READING so much. I feel like the re-reading is where the "magic" happens...

The joy of experiencing an "old" (already read) work as new because of new perspectives based on reading and learning other aspects of Buddhism and seeing the various threads amongst them.

Deeply appreciative of teachers who encouraged me to study/read broadly to better understand and appreciate Jodo Shinshu teachings and development of those teachings.
