*Virgo to Virgo* When your brain is on overdrive and in a spiral of negative overthinking: a thread

1. Don’t worry about it until it actually happens. I know u wanna be prepared but half the things going on in our heads don’t actually happen and are worries of what could happen
2. Instead of focusing on the bad -try to switch your mindset to begin focusing on what you DO want instead. Virgos know how to work hard and maintain focus on a singular goal, so if a Virgo wants something they are gonna take the steps to achieve it. That& #39;s Manifesting 101
3. If your worries involve another person, you are probably wasting your time bc you cannot control others -You can only control what YOU do. If you need to communicate with that person DO IT. Don& #39;t sit any longer thinking ab what they could possibly be thinking. Never assume!
if that person doesn& #39;t want to solve the situation with you or doesn& #39;t respond respectfully- Move on. It hurts like hell cause u probably give all the fucks ab it/them, trust me I know. But the best thing to do is to LET GO bc you are only going to hurt yourself more to cling
4. W/e u are fixated on is important and valid, but sometimes I have to step back and ask myself if this issue is worth the time/energy/pain/money. Logic is our forte so try to evaluate if this issue is worth worrying ab in the big pic. Will I care tomorrow? A year from now? etc
5. Virgo anxiety is a beast of its own. These are some activities to do with anxiety while you are waiting for results or to just pass time: CLEANING, listening to music, or a podcast while you clean, go for a walk, phone a friend, research a subject you like, play with a pet-
the goal is to distract your brain with other information/ tasks. Start a project you& #39;ve been wanting to do, reorganize your clothes ( I like to go through all of my stuff periodically to make piles of what I want to keep, sell or donate) Go to work! pick up a shift and make $$
-Don& #39;t go too crazy filling up your schedule tho. I fall victim of over-working myself to avoid personal issues sometimes. Keep that healthy balance. But I will say, going to work and making $$ instead of sitting at home letting my brain spiral is such a win win to me.
6. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF - Have you eaten today? Have you taken your vitamins? Drink more water, make yourself tea, do that skin routine, take a bath, take a nap, light a candle etc. Your mind affects your body so during times of stress we need to take extra care of ourselves
7. Have Gratitude/ make peace with where u are right now. This one is hard but this is the best way to start living in joy. Life is full of waves and hurdles but we have to learn to adapt and embrace the journey. Appreciate what IS going right for u and don& #39;t be so hard on urself
8. Even after correctly communicating and taking the steps to solve ur problems u might still be misunderstood. learn to be okay knowing that some people aren’t ever going to understand us/like us. U don’t need to prove anything. Just know, Virgo support group understands you.
