We need to walk more as a species to halt our spiritual malaise.
Joseph De Maistre is obviously a significant figure politically for the Right. But I think spiritually his brother Xavier outdid him with his book, "A Journey Around My Room", which he wrote to Joseph while imprisoned in Turin for duelling.
In it, he describes "travelling" around his prison cell each day with fresh eyes, as if he were holidaying, taking in every last thing and noting it down. His day always began with dressing himself in his "travelling suit" (pyjamas afforded him by the jailers).
He wrote it humorously and as a coping mechanism of sorts (the writing and the travelling). But therein lies wisdom of great magnitude.
Looking at things through the eyes of a toddler, I guess you could refer to it as - with overwhelming intrigue, curiosity and most of all wonder.

Could that feasibly be conducive to or synonymous with the Stoic's conception of "ataraxia"? Either that or they're opposites.
One is centred around wonder and appreciation, the other transcendental peace of mind.
We've heard of the de Maistrean influence on the Right. Now it is time for the Xavian influence on the Right, involving approaching mundane normality with unfettered wonder and curiosity. It deepens our essence and makes us more powerful thinkers and more resilient.
Similar vibe to Rousseau's "Confessions" or Thoreau at Walden Pond - complete immersion.
