Currently I’m reading “The Richest Man in Babylon” and it’s been great so far. It’s a book of parables where a man in Babylon shares his “seven cures for a lean purse”.

Of these seven cures, one really stands out to me in regards to what we do here- Money Twitter. Rule 3 is “Make Thy Gold Multiply”. I think all of us relate to it and want this in our lives.

The book goes on to explain this by saying: "The gold we may retain from our earnings is but the start," ... "The earnings it will make shall build our fortunes ... Learn to make your treasure work for you... Make its children and its children's children work for you."

I’ve got a perfect example of this from my life... Follow along: I take a percentage of my income and invest it into the stock market. These stocks appreciate, but I also sell covered calls. This is my money making money, or it’s children making money.

How do we get the children’s children working for me? I take the money I make from selling covered calls and invest that into dividend paying stocks. That builds a never ending cycle of income and my money making even more money many times over.

As you can see, one of the biggest tricks to wealth creation is making your money make more money and that money making even more. I hope my real world example resonates with you and you go out and crush wealth building! If you like this thread, give me a follow!
