What if at some point Superman realized that there were enough superheroes and that whole market was covered so he decided to become a therapist since he's the only one who could handle his peers losing their minds or getting physical when confronted with their feelings
Imagine the actual damage Superman could do in Arkham Asylum. Like, just letting Killer Croc chew on his head when he loses his temper during one of his anger management sessions. Letting Bane try to crack him over his knee over and over. "Do you feel better?" when they're tired.
"No."
"Let's talk about that."

Clark learning some stunt acting to help the punches and kicks thrown at him feel gratifying for the people throwing them. Taking in new information at lightning speed is boring, helping ppl work through their feelings is unpredicable & rewarding.
Villains getting Clark as a therapist are confused when they have to be transferred between facilities and they don't have to go thru the whole show of being restrained "your new therapist has strong feelings about preserving his patients' dignity and also he's your escort today"
Everyone coming at me with "oh but DC already did this and by the way it was very dark and a huge bummer" is like.... the exact reason why they need to re-examine this idea, but toxic masculinity and angst and people punching each other are nonstop moneymakers so.................
listen someone just pay me to write superhero comics, okay? let me do that for you. that's what all of this is about: me pointing out a problem and then promoting myself shamelessly as a solution to that problem. c'mooonnnn my email is open
Brain: Meg, are you using this tangent about superhero therapy to avoid working on your boards.
