I started driving @UberEAts again recently as I am saving up for a summer vacation. Because of the poor navigation system through the app, I ended up at a different modular home community than where the client actually lived. I pull over to call him.
Four residents in the park, various households, came out to yell at me to leave. They called me the n-word and threatened me with a weapon all because I went to the wrong address.
I have repeatedly asked @UberEats to give drivers the option to OPT out of certain deliveries.

I am a Black woman who delivers alone. If it's nighttime, I should be able to opt OUT of deliveries to the door.
I have been to hotel rooms where the men are only wearing a towel. I have had customers pull and yank at my door, trying to grab my things.

I, as a driver, should be able to add customers to a "no delivery" list that blocks their orders from appearing in my queue. @UberEats won't do that because hella drivers would be blocking non-tipping customers, and I would be one of them. (Problem with that? Read above)
I created this thread because drivers talk. We swap stories. We know restaurants to avoid and apartment complexes to block.
Another Black woman driver was called racial slurs when her child was in a car. How many recent stories involved Asian drivers being targeted?
