Does anyone else have sandwich stories? I want to hear your sandwich stories. https://twitter.com/JMYaLes/status/1387872248946728970
A less wholesome sandwich story: I used to manage a kitchen that served wraps and one time a guy asked me to put my phone number on his sandwich paper. I did, and he texted me he was leaving the country in 1 month and played rugby. I ignored him when I saw him 2 months later.
When I lived in Utah, I was being paid $8.50 full time. I lived in Park City, one of the top 5 most expensive cities in the US. I had no saving and was rationing my groceries down to $15 a week, total.
On my birthday, I splurged and bought myself the most expensive Bagel sandwich the shop across the street offered. It was a "Deluxe lox" sandwich with fresh dill and tomatoes and cucumbers, plus their specialty cream cheese and thick slabs of salmon. It was $12.75.
I still remember every bite.
