1/3 Since its inception, K-Country has provided different recreational opportunities and set aside land for user groups. It has land set aside that limits interference between uses. Off-highway vehicles are excluded from every area in K-Country except the McLean Creek OHV PLUZ.
2/3 That’s why random campers in this area will pay a $30 per person annual random camping fee starting June 1, along with a $30 trail permit fee that will be introduced this fall, for restoring and preventing damage in Alberta’s great outdoors.
3/3 The fees from the K-Country Pass will NOT be used in the McLean Creek OHV PLUZ. The revenue from the pass will be reinvested directly back into the high quality amenities needed to keep K-Country beautiful, accessible, and protected for generations to come.
