I am obsessed with bad dates and I& #39;m particularly obsessed with namgi on bad dates
namgi just keep going out despite the fact that they do Not enjoy it, they& #39;re both so stubborn that they just grit their teeth and are like "yes Let& #39;s Go Out Again"
because yoongi asked for the follow up date, and namjoon& #39;s not about to let him have the last word!!!! so namjoon texts him to ask him out for a third date and yoongi just looks at his phone and is like "for fuck& #39;s sake" and then types out "sure :)"
aftewards namjoon debriefs with jimin and is like "yeah idk we just don& #39;t have a lot in common" and jimin& #39;s like "don& #39;t you work the exact same job. don& #39;t you have the exact same musical influences. don& #39;t you have the exact same political views" and namjoon& #39;s just like "no"
FUCK OKAY BECAUSE IT& #39;S THEM THEY CAN& #39;T NOT ESCALATE, the dates keep lengthening, yoongi invites him for a movie AND dinner AND dessert experience so namjoon has to one up him by being like "let& #39;s take a 3 hour car ride together :) let& #39;s just get out of the city :) why not :)"
eventually yoongi is joining namjoon on a fucking family vacation and they haven& #39;t even so much as kissed yet
thing is they are stupidly compatible but sometimes stupidly compatible people cannot have good dates, and that& #39;s them. they& #39;re either just sitting in awkward silence or actively pissing each other off w/ petty disagreements over things
ah. they& #39;re fun
