I think too many people completely underestimate the value of playing the game of baseball correctly. So much emphasis on hitting and pitching philosophies and that’s ok. But if you truly understand HOW TO PLAY the game it’s crazy how many more games you’ll win. Baseball IQ.....

Is soooo critical. If you know where to be on defense, where to throw the baseball, how to run the bases, how to gather info and all the other details your performance increases exponentially.

And none of this is to say the hitting/pitching philosophy stuff isn’t important. That’s part of baseball IQ too. It’s just that we are missing the other stuff.
