Before the month of Alola ends I want to take a moment to appreciate my favorite cast of characters in Pokemon, I will try to talk more about the Kahunas and TC giving some examples, since I consider that Hau, Kukui, the Aether Family and TS are very loved already (1/...)

Interactions/moments
Having the opportunity to meet the characters before the battle is something that helps me to connect with them, and I think mostly the Alola cast has its chance, if not before is after: moments like Nanu doing the Z move , Hapu becoming the new Kahuna...

They are part of the region, with their own homes and family
The fact that we can visit most of the cast& #39;s homes, gives the characters so much lore, we can know how and where they live, like Ilima: his family has money, his trophies,the pictures of Kalos in the walls

Likewise, knowing their families, thats why I adore Lana& #39;s event: where you meet her sisters, not only tells us that Lana has younger sisters, it is the fact of interacting with them, knowing their personalities, even fighting against them and knowing their pokemon.
More than Kahunas and TC
They are guides, and obstacles for the IC participants, but they are characters who come out to defend the region when there is crisis, they are the trainers chosen by the gods after all

From most of the characters celebrating when the MC becomes Champion, to sharing a meal with them
The fact of eating together and being able to talk about anything outside of the IC/battles, there is no division of Kahunas and Participant/Champ, I have never felt so close and casual in front of this kind of figures, it& #39;s like we were lifelong friends and that& #39;s really special

Maybe they are not as extravagant, hot or popular as those of Gen 5/8 are, but for me they are the best, because for me they are the ones that feel closest to the MC, more real, relatable, down to earth and friendly in general. Thank you Alola for this wonderful cast. END
