My parents get their second #CovidVaccine tomorrow.
The first, they had access to a BSL interpreter via the wonderful @BSLHealthAccess but since coming to an end due to lack of funding, I am now on standby to interpret.
How is this still happening?

The staff were lovely but due to no access to @BSLHealthAccess , I had to interpret.
As well as being profile verified,
An example of Questions asked:
• Did you have any side effects last time?
• Are you fit and well today?
• Are you on any blood thinners?

I’m a qualified interpreter but what if I was a 12 yr old child?
These are important questions that could be answered incorrectly & had repercussions!
Deaf parents should be allowed privacy from their children.
Where were their rights today?
