Being less consoomer, step 1.

We were cleaning up our bedroom, expecting a new mattress. Found some old stools in the closet. Was going to move them to the garage as they had no use in the bedroom.

We have an older cat that needs stairs to get in the bed. We needed another set.
Previous to now, I would have put the stools in the garage, hopped on the tablet/pc, and purchased a set of pet stairs for our cat. Consoomerism at it's finest.

Instead I took the stools, sawed off a few leg portions, and made a set of stairs.

I guess it's a long way of saying:

Their podcast together was informative and engaging. That's kinda where I got the idea to use what we have to solve for what we need. It's just stupid little stuff like this that I'm trying to do now. Change one step @ a time.
I'll properly fasten them together later.

Step 2 I suppose is really getting our garden going this year. Just the basics...things we eat. Cukes, tomatoes, peppers. Gotta do what we can here in the burbs whilst we find a homestead. Hitting up TN in early June & really excited.
