Been working on a side project, a simulation to predict how long it will take to run a bracket.

Only have it working for single elimination for now, but I have two examples of interesting data I think could be produced. More details in the replies.

RTs appreciated!
The model currently predicts based on:
# of Attendees
# of Setups
Average Best of 3 and 5 set lengths

The two plots in the original post display the effects of the number of setups, and how many best of 5 rounds the event has (top 4, top 16, etc.)
Besides integrating double elimination (the math sucks), I& #39;m eventually hoping to calculate the number of friendly setups available over time and how many attendees go 0-2, 1-2. Also thinking about assigning different avg set lengths to certain attendees (zoners vs grapplers etc)
If you can think of any other data you would want to see in a software like this, or if you want to discuss how it works, feel free to reply in the comments. I& #39;ll quote RT this thread or something with updates if you& #39;re interested in seeing the final outcome. Ty for reading.
