I apologize for entering the discourse, but I wrote about universities and cancel culture and how stories like this absolutely spin out of control https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021/04/how-a-reply-all-email-became-ground-zero-for-the-cancel-culture-wars">https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021...
The students involved in this story reached out to me after they& #39;d tried contacting every media outlet they could find because absolutely no one was centering their experiences. It was all just about the hurt feelings of a white man. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021/04/how-a-reply-all-email-became-ground-zero-for-the-cancel-culture-wars">https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021...
State legislators were and still are actively spreading falsehoods and misinformation about students of color all to promote a false cancel culture agenda that promotes free speech for some, but not all https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021/04/how-a-reply-all-email-became-ground-zero-for-the-cancel-culture-wars">https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021...
And congratulations to the state rep who hung up on me when I asked him why he was spreading falsehoods about students of color https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021/04/how-a-reply-all-email-became-ground-zero-for-the-cancel-culture-wars">https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021...
Also in some ways this is a "problem with local media" story. Because when you don& #39;t have a lot of outlets and everyone is promoting the same false narrative the truth is hard to get out. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021/04/how-a-reply-all-email-became-ground-zero-for-the-cancel-culture-wars">https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021...
