I made the mistake of playing Zhongli’s story mission right before Diluc’s birthday... I should be drawing my favorite boys but now my heart hurts and I’m hella distracted 
I love Zhongli, it’s a big part of what drew me into the game to begin with. But this whole time I didn’t have a ship for him...

Venti knows what ZL went through, but their personalities aren’t the most compatible imo; Xiao is a great match, but their dynamic is more like father-son, plus I enjoy XiaoVen more.

But now, Mihoyo gives us Azhdaha. He exists because of Morax, he protects and cherishes Morax, he has been there every step of the way for him, witnessed his loss throughout the years, understands his pain, and shares the same curse/burden...
most importantly, his lifespan is even longer than Morax - if you can’t tell already, I’m terribly afraid of ZL being left alone in this world. When Azhdaha said “You will live a lonely immortal life, but this is only temporary; when you reach the end of time —
— you shall reunite with all your fated friends.” And then later implied like “my life is even longer than yours, don’t worry i won’t let you walk this journey alone”, I literally cried...
