I have one google doc that contains all of my planning and every chapter and all the links I want to put in the end notes. It takes like five minutes to load.

I usually have around 50 tabs open while writing and it is very satisfying to close them once the chapter is published. The tabs that are repeatedly not closed are very important to me and I lovingly restore them every time chrome decides to close w/o permission.

I have allowed far too many irl friends to read the nicest word. What can I say, I absolutely cannot keep my own secrets. Exceptions include my two good friends who detest Adam Driver, who will just have to suffer.

I chose the year 1880 absolutely on a whim and did not have any real prior knowledge on what was going on at that time. It is truly coincidence that it matched up with the little house timeline.

I like to write out the tags I’ll include before I even start to outline. I did end up deleting some from the nicest word because the sex ended up being less dubcon than I originally thought it would be

I usually do a lot of directed research for certain plot points but sometimes I’ll just stumble across an article that has some cool history and then I’ll write a whole plot line around it just to be able to link it later

I am extremely impressionable and comments have 100% changed or directed the story a few times lol

I don’t think I would have been able to write something this long without it being serially published- this is honestly the best writing experience and I have to thank you all for that!
