Folks, I’m going to have to write a blog post explaining our new policy banning discussion of the 37 Signals co-founders at work. It’s too distracting from our mission. You’ll be free to discuss 37 Signals on your own time, just not on our Teams channels.
Ok I see this has been somewhat controversial so I’m gonna have to write another blog post why we absolutely cannot discuss 37 Signals at work-
I know this is a difficult decision, but really nobody wanted to have to talk about 37 Signals and yet here we are, still talking about how terrible their leadership are. This is getting in the way of shipping great products.
It’s absolutely unacceptable to me and my cofounder for us to spend so much time and energy discussing these terrible so-called leaders and their opinions. The politics and direct action Teams channels will remain open, but please do not discuss 37 Signals in them.
Anyone in our employment who wishes to join 37 signals is free to do so, please don’t let the door hit you on the way out and keep your opinions about 37 signals to yourself, on your own time, where you are absolutely allowed to discuss 37 signals
It should be absolutely clear to everyone in our team that continually discussing the inept management of a minor email platform while amusing as sport and absolutely encouraged as an act of solidarity-
Anyway, If want to discuss 37 signals co-founders do it in your own sauna on your own time
