đź’° It's pretty common knowledge that NFL stars make A LOT of money đź’°

But sometimes it's hard to fathom how much MORE money they make than the average person.

So let's compare those massive NFL contracts to an average salary in their hometown👇

#NFLDraft #NFLDraft2021
One of the top paid players in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes, will make $45 million this year JUST in salary.

That doesn't take into account his endorsements & other investments.

But even without the extra money he will make 692x MORE each year than an average Kansas City worker.
Unsurprisingly, all of the top ten most paid players are quarterbacks.

With 5 of those players making 500x more than the average worker in their city.

These 10 players will make $345 million dollars this year or more than the GDP of Micronesia!
Patrick Mahomes will make 2984x MORE than someone making a minimum wage of about $15,000 per year.

Someone working minimum wage would have to start working from about 1000 B.C. to make as much as he does in one year.

Then would have to work until 5000 A.D to make it again.
Every player in the NFL should make AT LEAST the league minimum of $660k per year, which is nothing to turn your nose at.

Some quick math shows us that players who earn league minimum still make about 10x more than an average worker does each year.
Most NFL players ACTUALLY make about $880k per year.

With their career lasting about 2.5 years for ~$2.2 million in total earnings.

For an average worker to make that same amount, it would take 20-30 years.

Even with a short career, most players could be set for life.
