Excited to share our first report on Christian schools and Sabbath practices. Short thread on findings. @riandjita @AlbertxCheng
Overall, respondents held fairly orthodox views on the Sabbath. Most respondents hold to a Continental View rather than a Westminsterian view of the Sabbath when it comes to recreations.
Aside from avoiding scheduling official school activities or meetings, most Christian schools do not have official policies on the Sabbath.
"Sabbath-keeping" teachers are significantly more likely to report "never" or "rarely" doing work-related activities on the Sabbath than their counterparts who say they do not keep the Sabbath.
Rest is key for wellness, especially during an ongoing pandemic! "Sabbath-keepers" report lower levels of burnout than "non-keepers."
