4/ Japanese Americans were interned in concentration camps (called internment camps) right here in the USA even as FDR said, about the 442nd Infantry Regimental Combat Team, "Americanism is not, and never was, a matter of race or ancestry." Sure.
5/ Japanese Americans were given little time to pack or batten up their homes, stores, etc. to board trains to the internment camps. It was forced and affected 114,000.
