I personally feel like I shouldn't even be discussing this topic. I'm just some random dumbo online. But with twitter amping up its important to discuss these things. And though rulers are controversial they are necessary. If I say anything wrong please advise me

here is a 30cm ruler. Made from wood. It's not good because the wood usually chips or breaks after a while.

shatter-resistant plastic rulers aren't aesthetic but no one can deny their practicality. At some point though you will be tempted to snap it in half.

Now some may argue that 15cm rulers are the way forward. You can't snap them. They fit perfectly in your pencil case. But it's just not comfortable. Too awkward to draw a good long straight line

That's why these guys are the best. Oxford expandable rulers. You fold them in half and carry them everywhere. Then when needs be they expand to 30cm. The best rulers.
