When the voices are too loud and Techno can’t offer them blood, he opens their favourite book and reads. The voices love Greek mythology, and even though they know the stories better than him, they still allow Techno’s voice to pacify them

They listen to him attentively and, not too kindly, correct him when he messes up.

Sometimes reading isn’t enough, so Techno brings out his dusty old violin and plays tunes for them.

That silences them...

Not because he’s good. In fact he’s a terrible player. It’s amusing to see him try so hard to please them though.

The voices love to hate on Techno, but they adore his pets. They scream until he takes Steve out for walk and constantly tell him to check on Blitz because of

Jonathan Swift. They rage when anyone but Techno touches Carl, and still insist on bringing back Sky, a dog named after one of the leaders of the voices.

They mourn every dog’s death, named or not, and even though they are peaceful around his pets, Techno fears the day something

happens to Carl, Steve or their beloved Technochan

But Techno doesn’t know that when he hibernates, the voices chant “I miss Technoblade” for weeks. They cry that they’re starving for his presence. The voices may demand blood but they need his love and attention more

“I hate them and they hate me, it’s the perfect relationship”, Techno once said and the voices couldn’t agree more. This is what after all makes this man their greatest comfort

They know Techno doesn’t love them, that Techno doesn’t know them for who they truly are. He can appreciate them but he can’t love them... (This is from the copypasta lmao)

But they don’t care! They would puke if he ever told them he did anyway! All that matters is that he’s THERE... Well, at least sometimes lol
