In terms of the sheer amount of people who would have to lie without breaking ranks in order to keep the conspiracy under wraps, the “North Korea is actually great, all the negative press is just propaganda” people have got to beat even the moon landing people.

DPRK stans are such a weird crowd, and it’s equally weird that the standpoint of “every single bad action attributed to DPRK/USSR/etc is actually just Western Propaganda” isn’t more widely acknowledged as the conspiracy theory (and sometimes genocide denial) it so obviously is.
