Okay skipping the pilot and starting with Ep 1 - 'The Grid Car'. First thoughts the art and colours are really nice. Also I like the design of Tulip's friend, she's super pretty and has natural hair! #FinishInfinityTrain

I kinda feel bad for Tulip since Divorce IS rough and she's a kid, but she really didn't need to be so rude to her Mom about this. The lady is an essential worker doing 12 hour hospital shifts, cut her a break lol #FinishInfinityTrain
I like the way the backgrounds are soft muted colours with no lineart compared to Tulip being quite bold primary colours and lineart. It lends to the vibe that she's out of touch from the world and very isolated in herself and her own needs #FinishInfinityTrain

You have to wonder what time period Tulip lives in if trains are 'outdated modes of transportation' but she still rides a school bus... or is this just tech nerd thing where she thinks they should be more high tech? #FinishInfinityTrain

Jumping straight to Ep 5 'The Cat's Car'. This is a weird one. The whole tape thing and Tulips memories are def a trip into Uncanny Valley. #FinishInfinityTrain

I love how 'Ugly Irwin' makes a return here as part of the hellscape of Tulip's subconscious. Almost like the influence of friend's opinions can change your outlook #FinishInfinityTrain
The fact that the 'Conductor's first appearance is voiceless and just a dim red line in the dark I think adds to the menace of the character, we know nothing at this point about who or what it is #FinishInfinityTrain
Episode 6 'The Unfinished Car'. Now THIS one is rich with subtext and has the strongest references to Neurodivergence, Autism and trying to find order amongst nonsense, so it's one of the episodes that intrigues me most #FinishInfinityTrain
One-One's insistence that the car is broken is like anxiety telling the neurodivergent mind that you don't fit in, but you're not sure how to fix it so that you do, and so panic increases (hence One-One becoming more distressed) #FinishInfinityTrain
The phone turtle is like that part of the brain sending signals round and round that things are wrong but is absolutely unhelpful with actually dealing with it (hence the phone not being connected to anything) #FinishInfinityTrain
One-One's two halves speaking in unison with each other is like a disturbing look into the future, especially with the line "They don't have to worry anymore, I'm here to put things in order" meaning he'll 'fix' things at any cost even if it endangers others #FinishInfinityTrain
It's extra creepy when after leaving the car he suddenly introduces himself again, almost like he's rebooted, further suggesting some sort of personality override #FinishInfinityTrain
Episode 7 'The Chrome Car'. First appearance of Mirror Tulip! I really love their character but I'll talk more about them in Book 2. #FinishInfinityTrain
I just love MT, all they've done so far is trash the specs and loosen their hair and already they look 50% cooler #FinishInfinityTrain
