The union between Zacharie Noah & MARIE Claire produced Yannick Noah, perhaps the most famous of Noah’s.

A fine tennis man, he became the first black to win the French Open @RolandGarros in 1983, securing the Italian Open in 1985.
But beyond tennis, Yannick Noah joined the Indomitable Lions coaching staff during the mid 2000’s.

A proven champion, it was hoped Yannick Noah’s presence could motivate the players.

Surely, a champion can only bring forth another champion.

Come forth Joachim Noah 😉

The son of Yannick Noah, Joachim emulated his grand mother, picking up basketball.

Drafted into the NBA in 2007 as the 9th pick by the Chicago Bulls, he went on to have an incredible career.
Noah played for 9 years with the Chicago Bulls, becoming a two-time All-Star and winning the 2014 Defensive Player of the year award.

He went on to appear for the Knicks, Grizzlies and Clippers before retiring last year.
The Noah’s have a vast sports facility in Centre town Yaoundé, dubbed Zacharie Noah Country Club where kids are groomed in basketball, tennis & swimming.

The green scenery gives it a special touch and is a must go for sports lovers
