RIGHT. Who's ready for some Baron spam? Guess what yesterday was that I forgot to tell you because I thought today was April 28th
It was the one year anniversary of adopting my beloved, unfathomable void creature. Due to covid he was uncermeoniously thrust into the carrier I'd placed on the doorstep, in the rain. Here he is trying to work out wtf I am on the car ride home.
These are all fair and valid points as I'm sure you'll agree
Day two, a year ago today, how will he settle in? He is so small and scared what if he never feels oh ok nm
What a difference a year makes and doesn't make. Happy anniversary Baron, you're my favourite thing in the universe. Thank you for loving me back

Incidentally, Bishop's reaction to hearing the video of Baron's car ride home was to blep for nearly an entire minute so she's back in the running for employee of the month.
He was asleep at the end of the bed when I sat down waking him. He did a sleepy little prrrrrb and trotted up to me, flopping beside me but then remembered himself and gave me an aloof look before turning away (and then scooching his butt back until he was tucked under my arm)

Kittens are fine and everything, but I love him so much more now that he's an approximation of a cat. I miss the snugs, for sure, and spending 16 hours a day stroking his fur, but I wouldn't trade that his (dear god, hopefully) full grown character

This was day 3. It wasn't bravery exactly, or even curiosity. It's hard to explain even what he feels like from the outside. The closest I can get is that he has a perpetual air of "so.... cats.... do *this*.... yes?"
Sorry if you're bored of this thread but also I don't care
So that was day three and the first time he used his tower. Here are some more firsts:
