A THREAD OF HOW I LOST BOTH MY PARENTS IN A CAR ACCIDENT.

On the 29.01.2021 at about 03:55am we got involved in a car accident where my parents, my siblings and I were present.

Accident took place on the N6 +/- 20km from Reddersburg to Smithfield. Truck driver lost control of his vehicle as the truck switched lanes. He was slumbering! so the truck moved towards our lane, on a high speed. This led to a collision of our car and the truck

The accident resulted to the death of both my parents, leaving my younger sister in a critical condition. We had no resources to rush them to the hospital- help finally came and my parents passed on the scene, my sister was taken to the ICU.

We haven’t heard anything from the company of the truck driver. Dreams were sold and we were told we’ll be reimbursed. The police wrote statement of the accident scene but have not given us any feedback.

Both our parents were unemployed and so it was very difficult for us to bury our parents due to funds, we did not get any help or funds to help with our parents funeral.

The truck driver has since fleed and is no where to be found

Our parents were our breadwinners and now it is just me and my sibling and we don’t have any source of income to survive
