Finished Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie 1

It was a disapointment for me. Ufotable did a great job as they always do and Yuki Kajiura's music is phenomenal and they made the experience better but overall the arc itself was painful to get through sometimes honestly.

My Problems with the movie/arc

-The comedy is obnoxious. Using derpy faces and screams being good comedy is beyond me. The usage of comedy in the dreams were shit too.

-They failed to go indepth with Inosuke and Zenitsu during the dream sequence. It was a bad writing decision when the series could go full introspection and character development.

-The villain was kinda shit. Goofy monologues, underwhelming presence, no real character, explaining every little thing to the audience

-This might be a hot take. Rengoku was a wasted potential. His character and character was way too short that I didn't really care about his death considering he just got introduced. Not killing characters is a problem but killing off characters too fast is also a problem.

A character like Rengoku should've been built up in multiple arcs before getting closure. This felt rushed and more so made him seem like a plot device despite the final fight being actually really good.

Would drop this series if it wasn't made by Ufotable
