When it comes to Modi ji, because of his strong narcissism, he tries to steal credit for things which are not his creation.
For eg, initial part of vaccine hesitancy was because BJP tried to portray COVAXIN and COVISHIELD as if they were its own creation 1/n

It should have brought the scientists more to the limelight instead of posting photos of Modi over anything related to vaccines.
Many people who don't like him were obviously going to refuse the "vaccines made by BJP".

Our health minister kept promoting Baba Ramdev's jadibutti and keeps neglecting plight of resident doctors and doesn't take any strict action against people who inflict violence on doctors.

When it comes to Ram Mandir, everyone thinks it's the BJP which is constructing it because again Modi took all the credits for it.
It was a Supreme Court decision and the funding for temple has come from the people. 4/n

Govt has not invested anything in it. If Modi is going to take credit for things which are not related to him then he will also have to take the brickbats which might appear harsh.

Health is a matter of state, agreed and people like Kejriwal didn't build oxygen plants in their state despite allocation of the budget from PM CARES fund but isn't it also the duty of the center to make sure they got constructed? 6/n

ALL THE POLITICIANS OF ALL POLITICAL PARTIES were living in denial about the strong 2nd wave and hoping that the money which has been generated and grants received through PM CARES fund could be later used for other projects. 7/n

Realistically speaking oxygen plants will become redundant after this pandemic is over. A lot of things like ventilators, etc were never in so much demand as they are now and hopefully we will not need them in near future too. 8/n

Also, we can't just put all the blame on governments because as citizens we too have been guilty of not following COVID appropriate behavior. I remember I myself had started going out to restaurants after Diwali and stopped only after the cases began to rise again. 9/n

There are many people in crowded markets who are still not wearing masks properly. There are people who are still hesitating to take the vaccine.
All these factors have led us to CRISIS which cannot be denied.

But I strongly feel that media should refrain from reporting live from crematorium and displaying horrific images of funeral pyres. It can be done with some empathy towards the deceased as well. 11/n

It not only hurts religious sentiments as @authoramish wrote yesterday on twitter but also disturbs the mental health of the viewers as well as the relatives who don't even get to perform the last rites properly. 12/n

At a time like this we should be kinder and more compassionate.
As my friend @ImTheSkylord said to me yesterday, "Pandemics are the worst time to play politics and the best time to serve humanity!" 13/n
