Do you know what the main play in your interview is?

You’re trying to convey how you can either save or make a company enough money to justify hiring you.

The way you do this changes a lot depending on who you’re speaking to.

So what do we do? https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👇🏾" title="Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten (durchschnittlich dunkler Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten (durchschnittlich dunkler Hautton)">
Firstly think about the profile of person that is interviewing you.

• a recruiter
• a hiring manager
• a director
• a CEO

Are all looking for different things

Listen to them very carefully.

How can you tailor your story?

How do you relate to their job?
For example with a recruiter in a screening you need to demonstrate clearly you have an understanding of the basics of the role.

a CEO however is more concerned with how you might drive revenue or ideas you could bring.
To find out specifically?

Ask within the first 90 seconds of your interview:

“I would love to know from your perspective, how my success in this role might impact you directly”

“What would success look like to you a year from now & how would you measure it personally?”

Ask them how you would make their lives easier.

Ask them what traits they’ve seen in candidates that make their jobs easier.

Speak to the self interest of your interviewer & you’ll see results.
