1. Always learn the ropes of the game first.

No change can be done unless you know the system.

Learn first the tricks and tips of the trade, pain points, things that need change first or that should go down.

Learn the culture, language they speak.
2. Build your network within the system

For any change,

You need people with similar thinking, who can back you. Find them.

More importantly, powerful people, influential, are willing to change and acknowledge the problems.
3. Learn the weakness within the system.

Find the weak spots, size doesn't matter.

Small or big, find that creates the most impact across a system that buys you goodwill and also that shows the best ROI if the change is done.
4. Address the Low hanging pain points first.

Find the easy ones and kill them first.

This will help you gain confidence and immediate feedback.
5. Hit the prime targets first that if fixed will turn heads

Prioritize based on:

1. How many will be impacted.
2. Financial returns it will bring in
6. Know your enemies.

Always, know your enemies, and those who are against the change.

Nobody wants change, it could be they are.

1. Lazy for change
2. Beneficiaries of the existing system
3. or, they simply hate you.
6.1 Address their needs to satisfy them and keep them at your bay

Always keep track of your enemies and moves.
7. Introduce change and small wins and tackle one at a time

Prove your worth with small wins, no one believes you until you are proven and won't let you take their system for a ride.
8. Gather momentum and roll big

Once you:

- Established credibility
- People who can vet.
- Your network ready to work with you and for you,

Go big or go home with bigger changes.
9. Believe in your conviction.

Always believe what you do, have conviction.

Be able to sell your vision to others.
10. Important, expect failures and resistance.

As always, expect a lot of failures, have Patience, be ready for sleepless nights,

Change is hard, Change is tough but needed.

Be ready to make tough decisions
