The imam had warned the authorities about repeated incidents of harassment by multiple individuals, asserts there were multiple possible conspirators, warning were ignored
Two individuals were previously radicalized at this mosque, traveled to Yemen to fight, allegedly killed by US airstrike on an al Qaeda convoy.

Gunman Brenton Tarrant visited Israel in 2016 for 9 days
Veterans Today writer Gordon Duff alleges that in 2012 Tarrant was on a Syrian watch list as a potential trained Israeli assassin who posed a threat to Bashar al-Assad. He also alleges that Tarrant secretly visited occupied Syria for training in 2018. Unconfirmed.

Apparently Tarrant was wealthy via an undocumented inheritance. Was able to generously donate $2500 to this far right Austrian nationalist group headed by Martin Sellner on top of a large travel budget.

There were a number of ‘fake blood, crisis actor’ takes in this mess. Don’t subscribe to those so leaving them out but recommend you search them yourself to see a good example of what muddying the water looks like in practice.
