This thread is going to be my evaluation of each of the top 5 QBs in the 2021 NFL draft class.
Trevor Lawrence: A monster vertical threat who will take the league by storm and likely be pro bowl by his third year depending on what the Jags do to set him up. His deep-ball accuracy alone solidifies him as a top-5 prospect of the last 5 years.
Zach Wilson: This guy has the highest potential but will likely struggle early on, given the low level of competition he faced in college. He's very tough and mobile, which pairs wonderfully with his accuracy. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a subpar rookie season though.
Mac Jones: He is the most underwhelming and overhyped prospects in years. He doesn't run, has mediocre accuracy, and can't throw worth a damn more than 30 yards. I predict that he will be the biggest bust of the draft and will ruin everything the Niners have going for themselves.
Justin Fields: Fields may be my personal favorite out of the 5. His speed paired with his arm strength makes him a beast. If he goes to a team with a good receiving core her will have the best rookie season out of the 5 and I wouldn't doubt if he has the best career between them.
Trey Lance: I don't think that his playstyle really complements there modern NFL. With that being said, I do think he can turn out really good. He's obviously the most athletic out of the 5 but he's the least built for the NFL. I think he would benefit from a season on the bench.
All 5 Ranked:
1. Trevor Lawrence
2. Justin Fields
3. Zach Wilson
4. Trey Lance
5. Mac Jones
End of thread. If you disagree be sure to yell at me about why Mac Jones is the second coming of Aaron Rodgers or maybe leave a like or two cause I spent a decent amount of time on this. Thanks!
