James Carville complaining on TV saying Dems need to speak plain language. Dems saying things like “communities of color”... “nobody I know talks like that” isn’t the smart look he thinks it is...?

Everytime I hear white liberals whining about “political correctness” I just wince. We should not not change our language because “condescending”. We change because we are doing better, at one point in this country, white people called Black people Negro or worse officially

We change our language about race because words mean things and we should think about language that others people like saying white people and “minorities” in reference to POC or refusing to recognize that trans and non binary people exist?

Like sh*t I know white people who told their grandparents “do not refer to Black people as ‘negros or worse”. And the world did not end. Shoot if anything Dems like Carville & Rahm Emanuel lost elections for us, sweeping latent racism under a rug because “the economy stupid”
