This is what I've been saying for ages. Superman's real superpower is that he's nurturing. He wraps people up with his big cape and takes care of them. Portrayals of Superman that focus on his destructive power miss his true strength. https://twitter.com/MilitechMatty/status/1387009396140650499
It's like that comic I shared the cover of a while ago, where Superman takes care of a homeless woman. He's a gentle kind person in spite of his laser eyes and stuff.
Though... if Superman is that upset about Billy Batson, I can't wait until he finds out about Batman and Robin.
Also, I said this in another thread, but... Tyler Hoechlin's Superman is pretty much perfect. He's the best on-screen portrayal of big blue probably since Christopher Reeve, and it's amazing how well Hoechlin embodies that kindness and decency.
It's amazing to see Hoechlin go from playing a scary creep in Another Life to this sweet family man. He's got range.
