the goddess lalita and the lolita archetype:
i want to preface with an EXTREME tw, this is a very sensitive/dark subject and i want to make it VERY clear i do not support the lolita aesthetic. do not proceed with this thread if you think this will in anyway negatively affect you. YOUR mental health should always come first.
as i was doing research on the lolita archetype, i noticed those who were commonly associated with the lolita archetype were heavily influenced by either rahu, chandra, or buddha in the natal and navamsa chart.
shatabhisha, rohini, swati, and purva phalguni specifically being the most reoccurring nakshatras. however, the mercurial nakshatras and rashis seemed to accumulate the most prevalence overall.

purva phalguni’s prevalence in this archetype was first brought to my attention by miss vanille. i am not trying to discredit her observations but i believe there are more elements to consider. lalita is said to be a manifestation of maha maya.
lalita means “she who plays”. she not only plays but is a master in divine play. lalita being linked to tripura sundari allows her to strengthen or balance mercury in one's life. she is the absolute power who is able to contain and bring harmony to her surroundings.
in these “lotita-esque” films, we see these girls being surrounded by an illusion of love to mask the prevalence of disgusting p*dophilia, almost trapping the energy of the male projections and fantasies.
mercury's symbol is the caduceus (staff of hermes). it is an alchemical emblem of two serpents wrapped around a center rod (recall the moon, nodes, and mercury being
embodied by the coiling serpent).
the caduceus is said to represent the union of opposites in the human energetic system when it transcends the illusory world of duality. these snakes harness the energies of others and harmonize them with the human body and intellect.
in a previous thread, i correlated shatabhisha (a nakshatra prominent in this archetype) to the mirror. their images are said to be pervaded by the mirror, symbolic of this earthly plane being pervaded by the power of consciousness itself. https://twitter.com/vindelllas/status/1360125714696077314
as all the objects in this universe are illuminated by that light, so too do these natives of lalita illuminate. it was once said, “as the image of a city is not part of the mirror, similarly the universe is not part of consciousness.
“as an image cannot be separated from the mirror, the universe cannot be separated from consciousness. this is the glory of the real self. tripura sundari says, "sages, listen to me... this whole universe, like an image in the mirror, is born, it is there, and it annihilates
“itself. that which is seen by the ignorant as the world is realized by the yogis as pure knowledge. i am called tripura. far beyond the world there is an ocean of eternal bliss. in the center of that ocean there is an island
of gems,
“and the midst of that island there is a temple with brilliant illumination. in the inner chamber of that temple is a throne on which is seated mahatripurasundari, the great mother divine, with her five aspects. o highest of seers, that is myself.
“by my own primal shakti, it seems that i am born and will die in the world. in this way my faces are multifarious. i am beyond and above all, sri vidya. that which is pure, beyond all the phenomenal world, is the knowledge of the absolute, and to contemplate on that is freedom
“from duality. when the mind and its modifications flow towards the eternal center, atman, o seers, pure atman is realized. therefore, those practitioners who identify pure consciousness, through which all objects are illumined, alone remove all impurities.
“those purified ones remain absorbed in that realization." like the concept of purity and the virile snake attract the most uncanny attention in this archetype, these men receive hyper-stimulation and magnetic mental clarity that brings the illusion of purification.
they feed off of these girls, much like how the mercurial snake harnesses energy in alchemy. as mentioned earlier, lalita is the one who plays, as she plays both through and with us with her lila.
lila is of the challenging and playful nature, as opposed to being self-conscious or volitional in intention (as described by tripura sundari in the tripura rahasya stated above).
in the secret doctrine of helena blavatsky (an ashlesha and hasta native), she describes a similar philosophy of the supreme god who has achieved consciousness through the absence of contradictions and polarities:
as the empress and divine mother, mahatripurasundari, shines in vermillion red and entrancing rubies, so too do these natives attract attention from all. this is because mercury is naturally adept in the intelligence and craft that is required to charm others.
the whole world can be seen as a stage for lalita’s lila, or divine play. it serves as an illusion to see the actions on the stage as real, and those who see these natives in this fashion are said to be under the spell of maya.
people view mercurial natives from a maya standpoint, enamored with their loka transcendental beauty and are shocked when they learn these natives are not damsels in distress or do not adhere to their concepts of what is inherently bad or good, demonic or heavenly, etc..
it is in this supreme state of removing oneself from these societal labels (maya) and elevating oneself, these mercurial natives embody the infinite, boundless existence and the ever-expanding/twirling cosmic lotus of lalita.
i know i’ve been talking about mercury a lot, but my upcoming threads will be about atmakarakas, lagna lords, and vishakha. i just wanted to provide my notes on this subject. i hope this did not trigger anyone & if this thread is in anyway offensive i will delete it immediately
