Ranks high among the most lazy, irresponsible reporting on opioid use I have seen. Written by a former employee of JPSO and OPSO, parroting unattributed talking points from people who would love to see drug users dead or behind bars. https://twitter.com/bigeasy_mag/status/1387211023640371200
Zero argument or thesis presented here, just a hodgepodge of statements ripped from elsewhere. Any independent reporting? Unclear! Rambling, seemingly unedited. Factual inaccuracies that I won’t correct because I’m not getting paid by these grifters.
Show me where the “progressive” angle is here @ScottPloof and @danaecolumbus—I won’t hold my breath, I’d rather save it for CPR.
Big Easy is like reading Nextdoor except they call it progressive journalism. People who report on individuals who use opioids in this manner? Y’all have blood on your hands.
I hope supporting yourself off your tenants, advertorials, donation solicitations, and cacophony of pop-ups is what you want to be doing when you meet your maker. Utterly shameless.
I am begging @bigeasy_mag to quit polluting local media. New Orleans deserves better. Just go back to doing real estate. I’m sure you call the cops on anyone you think might be using near your properties, but that’s probably less damage than you’re doing now.
I exercised considerable restraint in this thread.
