he was murdered. he was not only a brother but a father. this was a horrible injustice. do not spread the fancam as it will only cause trauma to the latino youth and community. do not use this video and call it activism.

The police continued to lie and wrote a report saying Mario Gonzalez was violent before the arrest and died in the hospital after a âmedical emergencyâ.
however the body cam footage shows he was calm and peaceful. he died on-site after they knelt on his back for 5 minutes.
