Finished Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie
Rating: 6/10 and one of the biggest disappoint of this year for me

Ufotable nailed the adaptation as always. Beautiful animation and godly soundtracks which elevate some scenes however, the whole movie was a torture for me to get through

Firstly, character interactions in KNY is beyond terrible and jokes are cringe which ruin the tone of the scene. Villians in this arc were garbage and fighting felt dragging and unengaging because I don't care for characters. Rengoku's character was really underwhelming and

there was barely any screentime for him and then at the end his conclusion felt cheap. The last scene was visually stunning and I like the Tanjiro focus but overall just average movie with great adaptation
