Now that 15 Oregon counties are moving back to the extreme risk level... capacity for full-contact indoor sports will be limited to 6 people. As you can imagine, that would make competition impossible in almost all cases for extreme risk counties. https://twitter.com/CarmineKTVL/status/1384688678744707073
The Southern Oregon counties moving into extreme risk, and therefore making full-contact indoor sports competition nearly impossible, are Klamath, Jackson and Josephine counties.
Those full-contact indoor sports start competition May 17th and include wrestling, basketball, cheerleading and dance/drill.
But the 21 Oregon counties currently not in the extreme risk level will be able to have full-contact indoor sports competition with capacity limits listed in an earlier tweet on this thread.
OSAA commissioner @PeterWeberOSAA told me they're asking the @OHAOregon several questions about the capacity for full-contact indoor sports and about mask-wearing requirements for outdoor non-contact sports.
