I get to work and come to find out something (we aren't sure yet) caused the sprinklers to go off in half the school. So those classes were flooded. It wasanage crisis mode all day. Relocating entire classrooms, trying to salvage what we can, etc on top of normal day stuff. 2/5
I had to make a few deliveries and decided to bring a little light to the office staff amd teachers affected day, Starbucks. I went to deliver one teacher's coffee and she burst into tears. Another teacher had to be talked down from the ledge... 3/5
and stopped from having a complete breakdown because everything in her room, 20 years worth of teaching stuff, got demolished. She's a single mom who takes care of her mom. She literally can't afford to start over. My heart is broken for the wonderful educators. 4/5
Just a rough day all around. I am physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted. I've nothing left to give. That being said, thank you for thinking of me today with tags and for the follows. I saw it all, just don't have it in me to respond.♥️ 5/5
