So to summarize, Hank Smith becomes controversial because he *checks notes* shared his testimony about Joseph Smith, Cal calls Hank an embarrassment, Hank calls Cal Korihor out of frustration and then apologies and Cal decides to *checks notes again* double down? https://twitter.com/progmo_bot/status/1387493078789853185
Look @hankrsmith is a good man. Him testifying about Joseph Smith is not controversial at all.
Connor Emerson, Cals legal name, is a vindictive bully who masquerades as a perpetual victim and mocks BYU while milking it for every penny to maintain his celebrity status.
The only reason BYU won't take any action is because Mr. Emerson will play the "bYu iZ hOmOfObIk" card to his to 10k Twitter followers and to the Salt Lake Tribune and the current administration is very hesitant to look bad in the press and on social media.
Mr. Emerson continues to be a destructive force at BYU and I am tired of it. BYU is a place to build faithful scholar-disciples, as President Worthen has often stated, and Connor's efforts undermine that fundamental premise.
In short, Connor is a bully and it's time we take a stand against him and his supporters.
